IMEMS video seminar
IMEMS coordinates an annual seminar series which is delivered by videoconference between Aberystwyth, Bangor, Swansea, Cardiff Universities and the University of Wales Tinirity St David. The seminars address a wide range of disciplinary interests across the medieval and early modern periods. The speakers are a mix of speakers from the participating universities and their invited guests.
The series attracts speakers from a variety of disciplines and from all over the world, who give papers within the Institute’s research strands, but also talk on subjects of general interest, providing an opportunity for people working on different areas to exchange ideas.
The seminars are attended by staff and postgraduate students from across Wales and we have occasionally been joined by delegates from as far afield as California via the global videoconference networks.
The programme for Semester 1 is now live and details of the seminars and speakers are as below. The programme is available as a downloadable document here.
