Postgraduate Conference: Women and the Sacred In the Medieval and Early Modern Periods

This was held at Bangor University, 10-12^th June 2008  (Organised by the Institute for Medieval and Early Modern Studies,
Universities of Aberystwyth and Bangor)

The theme of ‘Women and the Sacred’ was approached through a variety of disciplines, including literary studies, history, modern languages, classics, religious studies, art history, archaeology, music, philosophy and law. The keynote speakers were Ruth Evans (Stirling) and Elizabeth Clarke (Warwick).
